Electrical Engineer
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Our client is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, and energy storage systems.
- System Integration: Lead the integration of electrical components and systems into larger renewable energy projects, ensuring seamless operation and performance optimization.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations of electrical systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations governing renewable energy projects, and participate in permitting processes as needed.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure reliability, safety, and performance objectives are met.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements, trends, and best practices in renewable energy technologies and electrical engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects. - Proficiency in electrical design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and PSCAD.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles, with a focus on renewable energy technologies.
- Experience with grid integration, power electronics, and energy storage systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
