System Design Engineer
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Our client is an industry-leading Automotive company with a Global presence. They are currently looking for a System Design Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of safety within the organization, emphasizing its importance in all aspects of work.
- Assist in conducting safety impact analyses at the item level to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Plan and coordinate various safety-related activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Lead efforts to progress through the safety life cycle, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
- Collaborate with product owners to develop a comprehensive safety case outlining safety measures and justifications.
- Drive the implementation of confirmation measures and review the results to ensure safety requirements are met.
- Participate in safety audits to assess adherence to safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with product development teams and suppliers, both hardware and software, to integrate safety practices into the development process.
Requirements:
- Experience in Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems
- Knowledge of ISO 26262: In-depth understanding and experience applying ISO 26262 standards.
- Proven track record in creating and maintaining safety plans.
- Experience in overseeing and tracking the progress of safety-related activities.
- Experience in developing electronic or software systems, preferably with a combination of functional, system, hardware, and software development for embedded systems.
- Strong merit if experienced in agile product development within a large organization.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Expertise Level: Typically requires 10 years or more of relevant experience.
