Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Contract length: 12 months (On-site)

Our client is looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer to help support their growing Electrical Engineering function on an ongoing project.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop relationships with local suppliers
• Handle rig investments, including creating investment cases and maintaining spending within budget
• Build rigs according to specifications and test requirements, collaborating with stakeholders
• Specify load box content and obtain necessary materials for rig builds
• Commission rigs and conduct pre-delivery inspections
• Plan and perform periodic maintenance on rigs
• Support fault tracing and implement new features on existing rigs
• Manage spare part inventory and orders
• Provide general support around the rig

Requirements:

• BSc or similar background with interest and good knowledge in embedded development and electronics
• Experience as a project leader is beneficial
• Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics and FPGAs
• Knowledge in automotive engineering and/or mechatronics is beneficial
• Competences in embedded software verification
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Open-minded, proactive, structured, with a drive to take the lead
