System Design Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

12 Month contract (With possibility to extend)

Our client is a leading Automotive company with a global presence. They are currently looking for a system Design Engineer to join their diverse and growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the logical design of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) solutions.

• Hands-on involvement in testing and verification processes, both in rigs and vehicles, ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical system solutions.

• Conduct rigorous system rig verification, ensuring the robustness and efficiency of embedded software and applications.

• Oversee software download processes and fault tracing, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the software release process.

• Utilize tools such as KOLA, KNOX, Artifactory, and others, facilitating smooth software configuration and development.

• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers, fostering strong working relationships to achieve customer expectations and project goals.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a focus on system design and ADAS, demonstrating proficiency in software integration and testing.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related field, preferred.

• Proficiency in various tools and systems such as (Canalyzer, Vision, Engineering Tool, SW-Configurator, SEWS, etc.), with experience in software configuration.

• Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in ADAS development, is advantageous.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to technically support and challenge colleagues.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to work.
