Data Scientist – Brussels – Freelance

We are looking for a Data scientist to support FME data flows related to asset management. The role involves processing, analyzing, and managing large datasets using FME software and SQL. The candidate will work in a small team, collaborating closely to develop and implement data solutions. The data comes from various applications and is ultimately stored in a SQL Server environment.

Experience required:

- Experience working in an Agile team
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
- Basic knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
- Experience in optimizing/tuning databases and queries
- Experience with FME
- Experience in analyzing data flows
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in Dutch at CEFR level C2
- Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle)
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)

Working Arrangement:

12 month B2B contract freelance

Hybrid working

600 Day rate
