Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Our client is an industry leading Automotive company based in Sweden. They are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the complete development process of electromobility components, from initial requirements to market introduction and maintenance
• Utilize technical knowledge in electromobility products, systems, and components development
• Drive results and challenge conventional practices within a diverse team
• Contribute to advanced and future technology initiatives

Requirements:

• MSc degree in Mechatronics engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Over 4 years of experience in product development
• Hands-on experience with CAD/PLM, preferably in design of casting, sheet metal, and plastic parts
• Knowledge of production methods and quality processes like FMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D
• Fundamental understanding of CAE/CFD analysis and thermal analysis
• Basic knowledge of vibration and Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and PCB design
• Experience in verification and validation for product development
• Technical expertise in electromobility products, systems, and components
• Experience in electrical vehicle development, power supply systems, and charging system is advantageous
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Senior positions typically require over 5 years of relevant experience
