Senior System Design Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Our client is a leading Automotive company with a Global presence. They are currently looking to expand their team by hiring a Senior System Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical and electronics systems, considering system purpose, component interface, and behaviors, while adhering to defined methods and expected outputs.
• Lead system engineering within a technical team, ensuring operational efficiency and short-term goals are met.
• Integrate deliveries from various sources and ensure quality and readiness before release.
• Participate in specification implementation and verification loops to ensure system aspects are secured.
• Drive the implementation of system architecture strategies and roadmaps up to product delivery.
• Lead concept investigations, exploring alternatives and establishing system-level concepts with teams.
• Support product managers in clarifying needs and breaking them down into features/enablers.
• Contribute to the development of technical and system architecture roadmaps.
• Manage interfaces and non-functional requirements within the agile release train scope.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge in the field obtained through education and work experience.
• Ability to support junior team members and peers.
• Commitment to lifelong learning, knowledge sharing, and developing others.
• Building a broader T-shaped profile, with the ability to dive deeper into one’s discipline.
• Developing influence and working confidently within a professional network.
• Ability to articulate how value is created within one’s role for the team or department.
